More Information on the Injection Molding Process

Our regranulates are ideal for applications that are produced using the injection molding process.

Injection molding is the most widely used process for the highly automated production of plastic workpieces by processing granulate. Complex shaped workpieces of almost any size can be produced. The high precision and short cycle times predestine the process for economical series production.

In the injection molding process, plastic is converted into a flowable state (plasticized) in an injection molding machine and then injected into the injection mold. The surface structure and shape of the finished part are determined by the cavity of the mold.

The most common plastic products made using the injection molding process include

  • Packaging
  • bottles
  • canisters
  • load carriers
  • boxes
